Evolution strategies for film cooling optimization

An evolutionary algorithm is implemented in a realistic automated design cycle of turbine blade é lm cooling. This design cycle involves the use of empirical formulas for the è ow calculation and the use of a commercial software package for the simulation of the heat transfer problem. The overall process consists of an engineering multiobjective optimization problem with constraints. In this work we consider the solution of this problem in the context f an automated optimization cycle using evolution strategies.
