HPC-based multiphysics simulations for the industrial realm

Abstract: In this talk several applications of HPC-based multiphysics simulations will be described, along with the industrial project related to them. Aerospace, oil & gas, wind energy, biomedical research are among the fields where these projects lie. All simulations are done with BSC in-house parallel simulation codes, notably Alya, a multiphysics tool. Mariano Vázquez is one of the two main architects of Alya.
