Advances in Computer Science  and in Applied Mathematics provide us today with an unprecedented potential for scientific discovery across several disciplines.

Computational Science integrates these advances, leading to validated, verifiable and efficient simulations as well as automated laboratory experiments and data analysis of real world problems.

Research in our group is in the areas of: multiscale modeling and simulation, high performance computing and bioinspired optimization. Applications range from the design of nanosyringes, to the modeling of angiogenesis and the optimization of swimming devices.
